After Rachael and I found out that she could go into labor at any moment, we rescheduled our return flights to Doha and prepared for the baby to be delivered in Oregon.

Instead of flying back to Qatar at the end of August like we'd planned, Rachael and I were forced to extend our stay in Oregon. It's a long story, so this is the first post in a series of five.
