Onboarding is over and I'm on to the real work. Time for things to get hard.

A couple weeks ago I read a thought-provoking post by Fiona Voss, a fellow C.S. student at Oregon State. The crux of the post was this: writing blog posts without titles reduces friction and makes writing easier. So how could I put it to use in my own writing?

As our time in Qatar drew to a close Rachael and I tried to see and do as many things as possible that had always been on our list. We went to the camel races, an iftar, the grand mosque, and a Qatari wedding.

One milestone people don't tell you about is opinions. I remember reading about "meltdowns" as babies approach toddlerhood, but this is such a negative way to frame it. Really, they're just opinions.
